BLOG N° 5 How can your major make the world a better place

 I think that the career of chemistry and pharmacy, or in other countries known as chemistry and pharmacobiology, affects and has affected humanity since time immemorial, since it is responsible for the existence and development of medicines (although of course, about 200 years ago ago it was not a university career as such). In any case, thanks to this specialty; humanity has been able to combat different diseases thanks to the development of drugs and medicines, for example terrible diseasesand painful (both for the patient and for his family) such as dementia or Alzheimer's, as well as chemotherapy drugs to combat different types of cancer.

I see myself as a great professional, working as a professor at a university, since my passion, apart from music, is teaching. I hope to become a full professor in a field associated with pharmaceutical technology; branch that deals with the science of drug development (of its physical form and manufacturing).This specialty provides a great benefit to the world: the hope of leading a better life despite suffering from illnesses. Without chemistry and pharmacy, it would not have been possible to develop endless medicines to combat different and dangerous diseases, such as high blood pressure, cancer, or to combat physical pain. But not only that, but this specialty also gives people the opportunity to take care of their personal aesthetics or improve it; with the development of creams for the face and skin, as well as effective medications to stop hair loss. Without a doubt, this is a specialty that grows day by day, and I hope to be a great professional in it.
